Main modules and functions of automotive SOA

In automotive SOA, the main functional modules are SOA adapter, SOA gateway, SD agent and service routing. SOA adapter converts information/functions from the old IVN into "services" that can be easily accessed by applications on any Ethernet-based ECU. SOA gateway handles issues related to intercommunication with external devices/networks, converting protocols and translating when necessary. SD agent can implement centralized SD, and service routing can use service routers to handle issues from the distributed nature of SOA.
