Italian government seeks investment from Chinese automakers to boost car production

Faced with the Stellantis Group's declining production capacity and layoffs in Italy, the Italian government is actively recruiting Tesla and Chinese automakers to invest and set up factories. Currently, the Italian government has negotiated with BYD, Chery and Great Wall Motors, hoping to increase domestic automobile production capacity by introducing Chinese automakers.
