PDS (Pedestrian detection system) is a type of ADAS, which is mainly used to detect and remind drivers of pedestrians crossing the road. The system uses cameras, radars, lidars and other equipment installed on the vehicle to detect the movements of pedestrians around and slow down in a safe distance, thereby reducing the risk of collision with pedestrians. This system is of great significance to improving traffic safety on urban roads.
