The AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) system is a type of ADAS. Its main function is to automatically brake in an emergency to avoid or reduce damage caused by a collision. The system measures the distance between the vehicle and the vehicle in front or an obstacle through radar, and compares this distance with the preset warning distance and safety distance. If the distance is less than the warning distance, the system will sound an alarm; if the distance is less than the safety distance, even if the driver does not step on the brake pedal in time, the AEB system will automatically start and the car will brake automatically, thereby ensuring driving safety.
