Function of Camshaft Position Sensor in Automobile Engine Control

The camshaft position sensor, also known as the cylinder identification sensor, has the main function of collecting the position signal of the valve camshaft and inputting it into the ECU so that the ECU can identify the top dead center position of a cylinder of the engine, thereby performing sequential injection control, ignition timing control and detonation control.
