Braking by wire consists of electronic hydraulic brake (EHB) and electronic mechanical brake (EMB). Due to different technical principles, EHB products are divided into One-Box and Two-Box. The main difference between One-Box and Two-Box is whether the electronic booster is integrated with ESC. The brake boost of EHB is transmitted from the motor to the wheel brake pads through hydraulic pipes, while EMB directly applies the motor brake boost to the brake pads. Compared with EHB, EMB omits the hydraulic system and vacuum pump, has better braking effect, faster response time, and is easier to use and maintain in daily life.
