Prospects of GaN application in main inverter of new energy vehicles

The application of GaN in the main inverter of new energy vehicles is still in the exploratory stage, but some companies have started to develop related products. For example, Israel's VisIC Technologies has cooperated with German parts supplier ZF to develop GaN devices suitable for 400V transmission systems. It is expected that by 2030, OEMs may consider introducing GaN into inverters.
