MinebeaMitsumi Completes Acquisition of 100% Equity in Hitachi Power Semiconductor

Recently, MinebeaMitsumi announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Hitachi Power Semiconductor, a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. This acquisition will help MinebeaMitsumi to develop eight core business areas including SiC. In addition, MinebeaMitsumi has also completed the acquisition of overseas sales business related to Hitachi Group's power device business. Hitachi Power Devices has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Minebea and has been renamed Minebea Power Devices Co., Ltd.
