Geely subsidiary Yaoning New Energy plans to develop solid-state batteries, with production capacity to be ready by early 2024

The Nanxun Solid-State Research Institute established by Geely's subsidiary Yaoning New Energy will have full-range capabilities from solid-state electrolyte sintering, commercial mass production of semi-solid-state batteries to small-scale trials of all-solid-state batteries by early 2024, focusing on oxide and sulfide routes.
