Volkswagen subsidiary Elli enters industrial energy storage sector

Elli, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, announced its entry into the industrial energy storage market and established a new business unit in cooperation with the Elli Charging and Energy brand. The unit will work with partners to develop, build and operate large-scale fixed storage systems. Elli was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. It was originally intended to provide charging services for new energy vehicles.
