Wuling Indonesia successfully produced its first power battery

SAIC-GM-Wuling Indonesia successfully produced its first power battery, MAGIC BATTERY, on December 31, 2024, marking the first time that a Chinese brand has achieved power battery production in Indonesia. The construction period of the project was only four and a half months, and with the collaboration of the Securipul team and the Wuling Indonesia team, the installation and commissioning of the battery line was completed in just 15 days. As SAIC-GM-Wuling's self-developed core technology, the MAGIC BATTERY has passed strict safety tests that exceed national standards and has the characteristics of no leakage, no fire, and no explosion. In addition, its 2C version of the battery has halved the charging time compared to traditional fast charging, and can be fully charged in just 15 minutes, with a range of up to 200 kilometers.
