China Charging Alliance: 73,000 new public charging piles were added in May, a year-on-year increase of 46.3%

Data released by the China Charging Alliance showed that 73,000 new public charging piles were added in May, a year-on-year increase of 46.3%. As of May this year, members of the alliance reported a total of 3.049 million public charging piles, including 1.347 million DC charging piles and 1.702 million AC charging piles. From January to May, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.328 million units, and the domestic sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.895 million units. The construction of charging infrastructure basically meets the rapid development needs of new energy vehicles.
