GAC Trumpchi recalls 74,000 2022 GS8 vehicles

GAC Trumpchi Automobile Co., Ltd. has decided to recall 74,422 2022 GS8 vehicles produced between September 4, 2021 and August 31, 2023, starting from December 31, 2024. The reason is that there are problems with the software of these vehicles, which may cause the instrument cluster to fail to display necessary information, such as vehicle speed, etc., posing potential safety hazards. GAC Trumpchi will use the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology to upgrade the software of the vehicles within the recall scope to version 230912_R, 230917_R or above for free to eliminate the hidden dangers.
