EU plans to impose anti-subsidy duties on Chinese electric vehicles

On June 12, the European Commission released a preliminary ruling, disclosing that it intends to impose anti-subsidy duties on electric vehicles imported from China. The three manufacturers, BYD, Geely, and SAIC, will be subject to tariffs of 17.4%, 20%, and 38.1% respectively; other manufacturers will be subject to a 21% tariff; and uncooperative manufacturers will be subject to a 38.1% tariff.
