AMD successfully acquires ZT Group International

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore has approved AMD's plan to acquire ZT Group International, a data center server supplier. The commission said that after evaluation, the acquisition will not significantly reduce competition in the Singapore market. AMD is a world-renowned fabless semiconductor company that mainly develops computer processors and related technologies. Its products are sold worldwide, including in Singapore. ZT Group specializes in the original design and manufacture of data center servers and storage solutions. Its main customers are large data centers, including those in Singapore.
