Qualcomm may turn to Samsung Electronics for 2nm processor manufacturing

Recently, there have been rumors that Qualcomm may consider letting Samsung Electronics manufacture its 2nm processors due to the high cost and limited production capacity of TSMC's 2nm process. However, Dylan Patel, chief analyst at SemiAnalysis, expressed doubts about this, believing that Qualcomm and Nvidia lack trust in Samsung Electronics. Patel pointed out on the social platform X that strange rumors about TSMC's 2nm and Apple, Nvidia, and Qualcomm continue to appear. In fact, TSMC's 2nm process "N2" has not been delayed and is scheduled to start mass production in the second half of 2025.
