Uber and Lyft plan to deploy driverless taxis

Uber and Lyft, two major U.S. ride-hailing giants, plan to deploy driverless taxis in some cities this year. New application features will allow users to open the trunk through their phones and locate the vehicle by honking. The two companies are training employees to maintain cameras and lidars while looking for places to idle and charge vehicles.
