Pentagon removes six companies that no longer meet designation requirements

In this update, the Pentagon also removed six companies that it said no longer met the designation requirements, including artificial intelligence company Beijing Megvii Technology Co., Ltd., China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, Shenzhen Kesi Technology Co., Ltd., China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Marine Defense and Information Countermeasures Co., Ltd. (China Haifang), China Construction Group Co., Ltd. and China Telecom Group Corporation. However, drone manufacturer DJI Innovations and lidar manufacturer Hesai Technology, which were previously included in the list, have not been removed from the list despite suing the Pentagon last year.
