LG and Ambarella collaborate to launch new driver monitoring system (DMS)

LG and Ambarella have teamed up to launch a new driver monitoring system (DMS) at CES 2025. The system uses LG's VisionWare technology to accurately detect subtle eye and head movements of the driver, and uses artificial intelligence to determine whether the driver is distracted or drowsy based on these movements. Ambarella's CV25 AI system-on-chip (SoC) is integrated into the DMS system, allowing the DMS to recognize a variety of clues and provide accurate detection and analysis regardless of the driver's race, gender or age.
