POSCO International starts construction of its Polish motor plant

On June 14, POSCO International held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new drive motor core factory in Brzeg, Opole Province, Poland. The factory is expected to be completed in mid-2025 and fully put into production in the second half of the year. After reaching full capacity, it will achieve an annual output of 1.03 million drive motors. POSCO International plans to establish a production system with an annual output of 1.2 million drive motor cores in the future.
