CATL's Beijing power battery factory officially approved for construction

According to Battery.net, CATL's battery factory in Beijing has been approved for construction. The factory is jointly invested by CATL (51% stake), BAIC Hailanxin Energy Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (39% stake), Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. (5% stake) and Beijing Jingneng Technology Co., Ltd. (5% stake). The construction permit for the factory was issued by the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission on June 13, and the project is located in the Yizhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Beijing.
