Infineon Technologies to set up R&D center in Taiwan

Infineon Technologies plans to set up a research and development center in Taiwan and transfer the next-generation automotive Bluetooth chip technology to Taiwan for research and development and production, with a total investment of NT$1.2 billion. This move is expected to lead to Infineon's investment of NT$2.7 billion in Taiwan and drive the output value of Taiwan's upstream and downstream electric vehicle industries to NT$60 billion.
