u-blox launches first IoT module with integrated cellular and satellite communications

u-blox recently released the SARA-S520M10L IoT module, which combines cellular and satellite communication functions for asset tracking, fleet management and other application scenarios. It supports LTE-M/NB-IoT and L-band satellite communications, and has low-power precise positioning capabilities. SARA-S520M10L is the first module to use the second-generation UBX-R5 chip, and the first samples are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024.
