OpenAI's annual revenue doubles to $3.4 billion

According to reports, some Microsoft executives who work with OpenAI will support OpenAI's transformation into a fully for-profit enterprise. This new profit structure may give Microsoft more influence in OpenAI, such as seats on the board of directors and shareholder voting rights. In the past six months, OpenAI's annual revenue has doubled to $3.4 billion, mainly from GPT's subscription services and fees for software developers to access models through APIs. Among them, OpenAI received about $200 million in annual revenue from Microsoft's profit sharing.
