Hefei Port enters a new era of smart ports, leading the development of unmanned driving in domestic inland ports

Recently, Hefei Port introduced two pure electric unmanned horizontal transport vehicles, marking the entry of its intelligent network information transformation project into the joint debugging and testing phase. The project is led by Huahai Zhihui and jointly undertaken by several companies. It aims to build the first smart port in China that combines unmanned driving and manual container trucks. Through technologies such as 5G and RTK, high-precision positioning is achieved to improve operational efficiency and safety. It is expected to be delivered and put into operation in the first half of 2023.
