Strategic cooperation upgrades, automotive-grade modules move towards a new 5G era

Datang Gaohong, a subsidiary of China Information and Communications Technology Group, and Alps Alpine Group have strengthened cooperation to jointly promote the application of C-V2X and 4G/5G technologies in the fields of autonomous driving and intelligent connected vehicles. The two parties have jointly developed C-V2X modules since 2018, launched the automotive-grade module DMD3A in 2019, and achieved mass production in 2020. In 2021, the two parties will further promote cooperation and use 5G and C-V2X technologies to jointly develop dual-mode automotive-grade modules that support 5G, C-V2X and high-precision positioning.
