Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology supported Chongqing to create a national-level Internet of Vehicles pilot zone, with the main task of deploying cellular Internet of Vehicles C-V2X networks and promoting Internet of Vehicles applications and industrial development. Chongqing has completed 128 kilometers of expressways and 88 kilometers of urban road infrastructure, installed more than 500 road-side communication units, and realized more than 30 Internet of Vehicles scenarios. China Information and Communications Technology Group and Datang Gaohong jointly built the country's longest and most complex C-V2X smart highway.
