Xinjie Energy signed a 3 billion yuan investment project with Changzhou Jintan Economic Development Zone

Recently, Xinjie Energy and Changzhou Jintan Economic Development Zone signed a new generation of lithium metal solid-state battery project with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The project is scheduled to start in September this year and will be built in two phases with a total production capacity of 5GWh. It will be mainly used in consumer electronics, drones, eVTOL, electric vehicles and other fields. Behind this development, Haimuxing, the leader of laser equipment on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, played an important role. Haimuxing has established a close cooperative relationship with Xinjie Energy, and more than 80% of the latter's solid-state battery production equipment is purchased from the former. It is reported that the headquarters of the two companies are close to each other, and the Jintan District of Changzhou where Xinjie Energy's project is located is one of the production bases of Haimuxing's IPO fundraising.
