R&S validates NXP's next-generation automotive radar sensor design

The R&S RTS radar test solution successfully verified the performance of NXP's new generation radar sensor reference design. This collaboration promotes the development of automotive radar technology, which is essential for the realization of advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. The R&S RTS system includes the R&S AREG800A automotive radar echo generator and the R&S QAT100 antenna millimeter wave front end, which has excellent RF performance and signal processing capabilities. NXP's new generation of automotive radar sensor reference design is based on the 28nm RFCMOS radar single-chip SoC family, which meets the needs of various automotive radar applications, including short-, medium- and long-range radar applications.
