Qualcomm, Iridium and Rohde & Schwarz Collaborate to Test Snapdragon Satellite Communications Solutions

Qualcomm, Iridium and Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) have jointly tested and verified the Snapdragon satellite communication solution to provide global connectivity for the next generation of Android smartphones. R&S test equipment helps mobile phone manufacturers ensure that their products are fully functional. The R&S CMW100 wireless tester is supported by Qualcomm QDART to verify the Iridium waveform. This solution uses Iridium's L-band spectrum to support emergency communications and information delivery worldwide.
