Rohde & Schwarz verifies NTN functionality of Bullitt smartphone based on MediaTek 3GPP Rel.17 chip

Rohde & Schwarz, in collaboration with Bullitt and MediaTek, has successfully tested and verified the world's first 5G smartphone compliant with 3GPP Rel.17 specifications, with satellite-to-mobile terminal messaging capabilities. The phone uses MediaTek's 3GPP NTN Rel.17 chipset and reliably sends SOS messages and two-way messages over NTN in coverage-free scenarios. At MWC, Rohde & Schwarz demonstrated this achievement.
