Asahi Kasei's Crystal IS mass-produces 4-inch aluminum nitride substrates

Crystal IS, a UVC LED manufacturer under Japanese chemical company Asahi Kasei, announced mass production of 4-inch single-crystal aluminum nitride substrates in the U.S. This substrate has an ultra-wide bandgap and high thermal conductivity, which will help improve the reliability and performance of UVC LEDs and other next-generation RF and power devices.
