Epistar has been deeply involved in the field of compound semiconductors for ten years

Episilicon has been deeply involved in the field of compound semiconductors, silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN), for more than a decade. It is one of the few semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan that has SiC and GaN technology. Although its wafer fabs are all 6-inch fabs, as international giants and domestic peers have established 8-inch compound semiconductor production lines, Episilicon has also begun to prepare to enter the 8-inch fab. Considering the high investment cost, Episilicon will cooperate with Powerchip Semiconductor, adopt the technology pricing method, and use Powerchip Semiconductor's 8-inch fab for production.
