Rohde & Schwarz recently completed the verification of the RedCap RAN5 protocol conformance test case, promoting the application of 5G technology in more scenarios. RedCap is a lightweight technology that aims to reduce terminal complexity and cost by reducing the number of antennas and bandwidth. R&S used the CMX500 wireless communication tester to fully verify the key features of RedCap and ensure the normal operation of RedCap terminals in the network.
