Rohde & Schwarz acquires Zurich Instruments to expand quantum technology presence

Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) acquired Zurich Instruments AG, one of the leaders in quantum physics, on July 1, 2021, with the aim of expanding its business in the test and measurement sector. The acquisition will enable R&S to provide more comprehensive solutions in the field of quantum computing to meet the needs of future technologies such as 6G and autonomous driving.
