R&S improves 5G FR1 base station OTA test accuracy, PWC200 software update brings surprises

Recently, Rohde & Schwarz has improved the measurement accuracy and usability of the PWC200 plane wave converter through a software update. This improvement further expands the application scope of 5G base station massive MIMO test solutions. The new software will be pre-installed in new equipment and existing equipment can also be obtained through upgrades. Compared with the old version, the upgraded PWC200 has three times the accuracy in amplitude and phase uniformity. In addition, the frequency range of PWC200 has been extended to 1.7 to 5 GHz to meet the needs of 5G applications in different regions around the world.
