Comparative Analysis of HEV and PHEV

In the field of hybrid electric vehicles, HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) are the two main types. HEV does not support external charging and can only be driven in hybrid mode, while PHEV supports external charging and can be driven as a pure electric vehicle or in hybrid mode. Since the charging and driving cost of PHEV is lower than the fuel consumption of HEV, it can effectively reduce expenses in daily car use. However, the manufacturing cost of HEV is lower than that of PHEV, so it has an advantage in price.
