Continental Tire announced the official launch of the fourth phase of the Hefei plant project. It is expected that after reaching full production in 2027, the annual production capacity will increase to 18 million passenger car and light truck tires, and 400 new jobs will be created. This move will strengthen the company's business in the Asia-Pacific and Chinese markets and increase UHP tire production capacity. Since its establishment in 2009, the production of the Hefei plant has grown rapidly, with a total cumulative output of more than 90 million tires.
