GaN holds significant share of the electric vehicle auxiliary electronics market

Gallium nitride (GaN) occupies a significant share of the auxiliary electronic equipment market for electric vehicles and is widely used in on-board chargers, DC-DC converters and other equipment. Although GaN has not yet made a breakthrough in the field of traction inverters, with the development of substrate technology, vertical devices and multi-level topologies, GaN is expected to become a widely used solution for electric vehicle power electronics in the next five years.
