ON Semiconductor's Roznov plant has expanded production three times since 2019

Since 2019, ON Semiconductor's Roznov plant has expanded production three times. These expansions include a US$450 million investment in September 2022, and two investments in 2019 and 2021, totaling more than 150 million yuan. These expansions have significantly increased the production capacity of the Roznov plant. Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said the investment will increase the factory's production capacity from 10 million chips per day to 20 million chips per day. ON Semiconductor has announced a $2 billion investment plan to expand its silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor production in the Czech Republic. The investment will be used to expand SiC production capacity.
