ON Semiconductor expands SiC production capacity in South Korea and the United States

ON Semiconductor is not only expanding SiC production capacity at its Roznov plant in the Czech Republic, but also in South Korea and the U.S. For example, the company invested $1 billion to build a silicon carbide research center and manufacturing plant in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and completed the expansion of its new silicon carbide plant in Hudson, the United States, expanding substrate production capacity fivefold.
