HP acquires Juniper Networks to accelerate AI-driven innovation

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced that it will acquire network equipment company Juniper Networks in an all-cash transaction with a total price of nearly US$14 billion. This is Hewlett Packard Enterprise's largest acquisition since 2008. The main motivation for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to acquire Juniper Networks is to accelerate AI-driven innovation and combine the two companies' strengths in the fields of networking and IT infrastructure.
