BMW will launch more entry-level pure electric i1 and i2

BMW plans to launch two new electric models, the i1 and i2. Both cars are produced based on the Neue Klasse platform, with the i1 positioned as a compact pure electric sedan and expected to be launched in 2027; the i2 is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV and is expected to be launched in 2028. These two cars will be the first BMW models built on the NBx platform, supporting an 800V electric architecture, with front-wheel drive as standard, and four-wheel drive options available.
