Honda China sales to drop sharply in 2024, pinning hopes on electric vehicle market

Honda China released its latest sales report, showing that terminal car sales in 2024 were 852,269 units, a decrease of 30.94% from 1,234,181 units in the previous year. This is the fourth consecutive year of Honda's sales decline and the largest drop in the past three years. Faced with the difficulties in the sales of fuel vehicles, Honda China is accelerating its electrification transformation in the Chinese market and plans to launch 10 pure electric models by 2027.
