FAW Hongqi is about to release the mass-produced version of its second pure electric model, the E009

FAW Hongqi plans to release another pure electric mid-size sedan, the Hongqi E009 production version, based on the "Tiangong pure electric platform". This model also uses pure electric drive and will be equipped with the M190-150kW silicon carbide reducer assembly. This technology was developed by Hongqi Automobile and can achieve a measured CLTC comprehensive efficiency of 97.7% and a maximum efficiency of 98.5%.
