Intel and Silicon Mobility partner to launch electric vehicle powertrain chip ACU U310

Intel and automotive chip startup Silicon Mobility launched the first adaptive computing control unit ACU for electric vehicle powertrain and regional controller applications at CES 2025. This chip solution, called ACU U310, will support multiple real-time, safety-critical and network security functions, applications and domains integrated into a single chip. Compared with traditional MCU/ZCU solutions, ACU has integrated flexible logic areas to support richer parallel workloads.
