Toyota plans to increase China car production to 2.5 million units

Toyota Motor reportedly plans to increase vehicle production in China, aiming to produce at least 2.5 million vehicles by 2030. Toyota has transferred planning and development responsibilities to local Chinese executives and employees who better understand the local market and consumer preferences, especially in electric vehicles and connected car technologies.
