NXP announces acquisition of US SerDes startup Aviva Links

NXP recently announced that it will acquire US SerDes startup Aviva Links for $242.5 million in cash. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025, but it still needs to meet some conventional closing conditions, including regulatory approval. Aviva Links' products support point-to-point (ASA-ML) and Ethernet-based connections (ASA-MLE), with data transmission rates up to 16Gbit/s.
