WeRide's first batch of sanitation vehicles started safety testing in Singapore and will be put into operation by the end of the year

On June 20, autonomous driving technology company WeRide cooperated with Chye Thiam Maintenance, a well-known sanitation company in Singapore, to jointly promote the commercialization of autonomous sanitation vehicles in Singapore. The first batch of WeRide sanitation vehicles have arrived in Singapore and started safety testing, and are expected to be officially put into operation by the end of 2024. Since September 2022, WeRide's smart sanitation business has been implemented in many cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
