Pony.ai gets approval to conduct unmanned truck platooning tests

Pony.ai officially announced that it has recently been approved to conduct unmanned testing of autonomous driving following the owner of a vehicle in a platoon. As the only company with the qualification to conduct autonomous driving road tests on inter-provincial highways in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Pony.ai will start unmanned testing of truck platoons and freight services on the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway.
